01 Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Umang Bazaar website (umangbazaar.com) and the purchase of any products listed on it, including sarees, suits and dress materials, menswear, jewellery, bags and accessories, home furnishing and gifting. By using our site or placing an order, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Umang Bazaar, and "you" refers to the person browsing the site or placing an order.

02 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or shopping under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. By purchasing, you confirm that the name, address, phone number and other details you provide are accurate and complete, and that you are legally permitted to make the purchase.

Orders placed with incomplete or incorrect delivery details may be delayed or cancelled.

03 Your Account

You can shop as a guest or create an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraudulent activity, repeated refused deliveries, abuse of offers, or any breach of these Terms.

04 Products & Listings

We describe every product as accurately as we can, including fabric, weave, work, size and care details. Many of our items — particularly sarees, dress materials and handcrafted pieces — are made in small batches, so slight variations in colour, print placement, embroidery and finish are natural and are not considered defects.

Colours may also appear different on your screen depending on device and display settings. Measurements are approximate and may vary marginally between pieces. Product images may include styling props that are not part of the item sold; the listing description states exactly what is included.

05 Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices, offers and discount codes at any time without prior notice; the price applicable to your order is the one shown at checkout.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, including UPI, cards, net banking, wallets and Cash on Delivery (COD) where available. COD may be limited to certain pin codes and order values, and a COD handling fee may apply. Prepaid orders must be paid in full before an order is processed.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount already paid.

06 Orders & Acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion — for example in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock unavailability, bulk or resale-scale quantities, or an address we are unable to service. A confirmation will be sent to your registered email or phone number once the order is accepted.

07 Cancellations & Changes

You may request a cancellation or a change of address before the order is packed and handed to the courier. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled or modified. For prepaid orders cancelled in time, the amount is refunded to the original payment method.

We may cancel an order after it is placed if the item goes out of stock or cannot be delivered to your location. In that case, you will be informed and refunded in full.

08 Shipping & Delivery

We offer free shipping on eligible orders as shown on the website, and ship across India through third-party courier partners. Delivery timelines shown at checkout are estimates and may vary based on location, courier availability, festive season volumes, weather or other circumstances outside our control.

Please ensure someone is available to receive the order at the delivery address. If a shipment is returned to us due to repeated failed delivery attempts, a refused COD order, or incorrect address details, we may deduct the shipping and return charges from any refund. 09 Returns & Refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled in line with our Refund Policy. To be eligible, items must be unused and unwashed, with all original tags, packaging and accessories intact, and must be raised within the return window stated on the product page.

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items — such as innerwear, pierced jewellery, cosmetics and personal care products, and customised or stitched-to-order pieces — are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or incorrect. Please check your parcel on delivery and contact us promptly, with unboxing photos or video where possible, if there is an issue. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method, or to a bank account you provide in the case of COD orders.

10 Product Care & Suitability

Follow the care instructions on the product page and label. Delicate fabrics and hand-worked pieces generally need dry cleaning or gentle hand wash; embellishments such as zari, sequins, beads and stones can loosen with rough handling, and colour bleeding in the first wash is common in some natural dyes.

Imitation and fashion jewellery is not hypoallergenic and may cause a reaction on sensitive skin — keep it away from water, perfume and cosmetics. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper washing, storage or use. If you have known allergies, please review the material details before purchasing.

11 Offers & Coupons

Discount codes, festive offers and free-shipping thresholds are valid only for the period, products and conditions stated, and cannot be combined unless we say so. Coupons hold no cash value and cannot be applied after an order is placed. We may withdraw an offer or cancel orders where a code has been misused, shared publicly without permission, or used through automated means.

12 Reviews & Customer Content

If you post a review, photo, video or comment, you confirm it is your own honest experience and that you own the rights to what you share. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and reuse that content on our website, marketing material and social channels, with credit where appropriate.

We may remove content that is misleading, offensive, infringes someone else's rights, or contains personal contact details.

13 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the website to resell our products as an unauthorised seller, scrape or copy our catalogue, interfere with the site's security or functioning, place fraudulent or bulk speculative orders, or impersonate another person. We may refuse service and take legal action where necessary.

14 Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including the Umang Bazaar name, logo, product names, photographs, illustrations, text, layout and design — is our property or used under licence, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

15 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Umang Bazaar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products, including delays caused by courier partners or payment gateways. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

The website may link to third-party sites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

16 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect once published on this page, with the "Last updated" date changed accordingly. Orders are governed by the Terms in force at the time the order is placed.

17 Governing Law
